Opportunities to volunteer in Youth Ministries
The NRUMC Youth Team is looking for interested volunteers who would like to share their time and talents with the Youth of our congregation. Volunteers strengthen and enrich educational programs and foster greater cooperation among all aspects of the Youth Program.
Our team welcomes volunteer involvement in a variety of areas and capacities. One main objective is to recruit volunteers for teaching the Tweens program offered to 6th and 7th grade youth and for the Confirmation program offered to 8th grade and older youth. In addition, we are looking for volunteers for the Confirmation mentor program, for chaperones to go on Retreats and attend fellowship functions, and for new members to join the Youth Team.
Volunteers derive a great sense of fulfillment and satisfaction from their work and our youth program is certainly very much enhanced by their generous efforts.
If you are interested in learning more about volunteering in our Youth program or being a part of the Youth Team, we would be delighted to hear from you.
